REV. D.L. BRACKEN SR.

Senior Pastor

Rev. D.L. Bracken Sr. is serving as the New Senior Pastor at Warren Chapel Baptist Church.. His passion for preaching and teaching the Word of God has inspired many to grow in faith and love.

Rev. Bracken grew up in Buna, Texas, and contributes most of his wisdom from his grandmother After graduating from high school, Rev. Bracken attended Lamar Institute of Technology where he received an A+ certification in Technology. He later attended Grand Canyon University where he finished Cume Lade with an Associate Degree in information Technology. He is currently working on his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Biblical Studies.

Rev. Bracken has always had a passion for Christ and people. His gifts are in Love, words of knowledge and wisdom. He answer his call to preach in 2002, and was licensed by Bishop O.E. Whitaker Sr., Former Pastor of Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, Beaumont Texas. He loves outreach ministries and has served in ministries such as Feeding The Hungry, Street Ministry, Pre-Martial and Marriage Counseling , and Evangelism. He has served in the capacity of Youth Pastor, Faith-Based Counselor and served as Former Pastor Bishop O.E. Whitaker Sr. Armor Bearer.

His Goal is to aide in the body of Christ coming together and helping those who desire to retch their highest potential in Christ and Life Journey. His Traditional yet contemporary style helps him to be able to reach many.

Rev Bracken has been married to his wife Lady Laura for 28 years and there are 2 adult children, Taja and Derrick and one child at home Derwin Jr.

Lady Bracken mission is to choose life, by sharing that everyone can have a everlasting life with Jesus. "Choose to Have a Great Day" is one of her favorite sayings. Whether the day is challenging or eventful. We are on this journey and God has given us the choice to life death. Her desire is the utilize what God has equipped her with, to be helpful to all with  especial passion to minister to women.

Lady Bracken is a graduate from the University of Phoenix where she hold a Master of Science in Phycology and a Bachelor of Science  in Human Service Managements. She holds a Faith Based Biblical Counselor Certification and hold other certifications and training in other areas that are applicable for ministry and career such as in Administration, Public Speaking, and Team Building.

Being the wife to the love of her life, Rev. D.L. Bracken Sr. for over 28 years and Mom of three beautiful children,  Taja (Husband Jucobie House), Derrick (Wife Janice Wilkerson) and one at home child Derwin Jr..
